Summary#
논리적으로 같은 SQL 조건이라도 표기 방식에 따라 SQLite가 부분 인덱스를 사용하지 않을 수 있다. 대형 테이블의 빈번한 조회에서는 인덱스 정의에 맞는 조건을 사용하고 실행 계획을 확인한다.
Problem#
살아 있는 자산을 경로로 조회할 때 테이블 전체를 스캔한다.
Solution#
NOT NULL인 is_missing에 대해 IS 0 대신 부분 인덱스를 활용하는 = 0을 사용한다.
Failure Modes#
- 결과가 같다는 이유로 실행 계획 차이를 간과
- 스키마 제약을 확인하지 않고 조건식을 변경
