FastAPI JWT authentication in tests

Problem#

Re-authenticating with JWT on every test is slow and couples tests to the auth implementation.

Solution#

Use FastAPI's dependency_overrides to inject a static/fake auth dependency in tests, bypassing real JWT validation. Scope pytest fixtures to module or session to cache tokens when real auth is needed.

Failure Modes#

• Forgetting to reset dependency_overrides between test suites, leaking fake auth into unrelated tests.
• Session-scoped fixtures masking token expiry bugs if the real token TTL is shorter than the test session.
