대규모 파일 스캔은 폴더 순회나 파일 정보 조회가 오래 걸리면 사용자 작업이 시작돼도 즉시 멈추지 못한다. 긴 단계를 작은 단위로 나눠 중단 지점을 두고, 사용자 작업이 끝나 대기열이 비면 곧바로 재개한다.

Summary#

대규모 파일 스캔은 폴더 순회나 파일 정보 조회가 오래 걸리면 사용자 작업이 시작돼도 즉시 멈추지 못한다. 긴 단계를 작은 단위로 나눠 중단 지점을 두고, 사용자 작업이 끝나 대기열이 비면 곧바로 재개한다.

Problem#

스캔을 단계 사이에서만 일시 중지하면 실행 중인 긴 단계가 프롬프트를 지연시키고, 재개를 주기적 작업에만 맡기면 프롬프트가 계속 들어올 때 스캔이 끝나지 않을 수 있다.

Solution#

순회·파일 조회 중에도 주기적으로 일시 중지 상태를 확인하고, 프롬프트 완료 시 대기열이 비었으면 스캔을 재개한다.

Failure Modes#

  • 긴 단계 내부에 중단 지점이 없음
  • 대기열이 비어도 다음 주기적 작업까지 재개를 미룸
