Summary#
일반 실행에서는 정상인 텐서 연산도 메모리 컴파일러가 추적하는 할당을 늘려 실행 실패를 일으킬 수 있다. 값의 의미가 같다면 제자리 연산을 검토하고, 문제가 발생한 dtype과 실행 옵션에서 직접 검증하라.
Problem#
Qwen Image 2.1에서 fp16 활성값을 Tensor.clip으로 제한할 때 새 텐서가 생성되어 메모리 컴파일이 첫 샘플링 단계에서 실패했다. 해당 분기를 타지 않는 bf16 테스트만으로는 발견할 수 없었다.
Solution#

Failure Modes#
- 기본 dtype에서만 테스트해 fp16 전용 분기 오류를 놓침
- 제자리 연산으로 바꾸기 전에 텐서 공유나 autograd 의존성을 확인하지 않음
